To its credit the Pur leaves few reminders of the Good Love Bar days, gone are the candle-lit rooms and subtle tomes, replaced with up-tempo dance grooves. Some old time Baltimore clubbites balked at the $20 cover, but a charge like that limits the riff-raff and helps to maintain the quality of production. Even still more than a few who-let-him/her-in-here slip through the cracks, but not enough to dampen the liveness of the revelers.
