And although it’s the mainland Chinese who’ve perfected it into an art, HK karaoke is still a unique experience. The chain California Red opened this original branch at the Novotel Century Hong Kong Hotel back in 1992, and although it’s not as comfortable and grand as the Neway CEO in Causeway, Red Box has a much better selection of songs.
