Taking its name from the red “bar” sign that hung above previous Balzarini’s Italian Restaurant in the 1900’s, this brasserie is dressed to impress the summer crowd: wraparound windows, white-cloaked tables, and handsome wood floors that meet many a designer heel. The American cuisine with an international twist won't make anyone miss the city, but luring fashionable candidates from East Hampton into South is impressive enough.
