Park City’s newest and most resoundingly authentic Middle Eastern hole-in-the-wall. Situated outside the city proper in Kimball’s Junction, Reef’s is an oasis of no-haught dining, family owned and operated by honest-to-God Israelis (in Utah! They do exist!). Food isn’t flashy, just legit: homemade BabaGanouj, Grape Leaf Wraps and Tabouli for starters, Kebabs, Jerusalem Shishlik and Moroccan Salmon (a favorite) for the main. Digs are tiny, name isn’t misleading. Most tables abut the restaurant-length bar/kitchen, but the forced intimacy's part of the appeal. As is the requisite Israeli enthusiasm. As word gets out, expect a small wait (which should be assuaged when Reef’s opens its new Park Proper location late in ‘08), but nothing insurmountable.
