BlackBook Lowdown

An older brand of Queen West transplants and hipsters migrate to this intimately seductive bar for their tequila fix. Stained glass provides the shrine for 28 different brands on offer. Rotating displays of local art and photos speak for themselves on the brick walls. Wednesdays through Saturdays, live jazz is near the front to add to the low key vibe. Small tapas menu, cocktails and wine provide an alternative and accoutrement to the specialty.
