Editorial Review

Minimalist eatery with communal tables—better for group action than anything intimate involving conversation or whatnot. Loud, simple, fast, cheap, tasty. Ideal for quick lunch that won't sit on your haunches like a ton of bricks. Spicy chicken with noodles in coconut broth. Coconut-crusted shrimp, washed down with mango mojitos. Vast veggie selection, too. Recently re-introduced the Spicy Coconut Chicken Broth Noodles dish to combat the winter frost. Chef/Owner Huy Chi Le wisely put this bestseller back on the menu after a two-year hiatus. Outdoor tables ideal for watching Union Square strollers (and NYU co-eds) getting more and more naked as summer rolls on.
