Mis Raices

Editorial Review

Juanita Posternak has been preparing dinners by reservation-only for 20-something years--take that, Saltshaker! Book a week in advance and fast the day before to fully appreciate this multi-course feast. Knishes, gefilte fish, and kiske, all homemade and prepared day-of. Pink candles, musical selections feel like dining at bubbe's house, minus comments about finding a nice doctor/lawyer to settle down with. Ms. Posternak also does high holidays, in case you're all dressed up for Yom Kippur with nowhere to go.
