Retro Bakery

Kitschy, fifties-styled bakery specializes in cupcakes ranging from the chocolate and vanilla to the more, ahem, unusual. There's the milk and cookies--a chocolate-chip cake topped with frosting and a cookie--and the key lime pie and ice cream sundae varieties. But the piece de resistance is the maple bacon cupcake, a vanilla cupcake filled with bacon and maple syrup and topped with maple buttercream. It's only available on Fridays but, hey, if you're ever gonna have a bacon cupcake for breakfast at 7 am, now's the time.
