Rice and Fish

Welcome news for west coast transplants: Paris finally has a sushi bar to rival your hometown rolls. With an diner-like interior and an American behind the counter, Rice and Fish is a fresh update in an otherwise sad sushi scene. Sweet relief in the form of eel temeki, a spider roll stuffed with soft-shell crab, and "le krunchy" with tempura shrimp and secret sauce. High marks for presentation - especially "la chenille" which presents six avacado-topped maki in the form of a caterpillar.
