Rises from the white sands like a Mexican Taj Mahal, a majestic expanse of stark white flanked on both sides by mirrored, glittering blue pools and domed with adobe red minarets. This waterworld playground for the well-off business or pleasure tourist is perfectly situated between downtown's debauchery and the endless miles of empty Baja beach and splendid clean water that awaits in every other direction. Service is planted directly on your backside, as no need goes unfulfilled from spa to salon to the volleyball courts and kids' playground. While every day trip and ocean adventure is available through the concierge, we find better success at the bizillion bars, swimming up in the day and bellying up at night. Lots of hot talent on vacation winding up lonely and full of tequila for the floor show. Massive property has large, loungey rooms, with mostly uninspired decor, until you open those balcnoy doors.
