Riva is like a Gemini - two different sides. Subdued contemporary digs in the front for a date and refined eats. Past the curtains, there is some serious ass-shaking in the back by primo local DJs (like George Chaker). European house heads and Extreme Fitness clientele dance on top of banquettes and on tables, something you'd see in Mykonos and not in TO. Decor gives off romantic gothic vibe: mirrored panels, raging red walls and high ceilings invite classy, sophisticated crowd.
