Rodeo Club

Originally unlicensed restaurant/bar/club briefly insider tip among Berlin's more omnipotent trendsetters, but since chronicled across countless international culture guides sadly sacrificing some mystique. Clientele's a bit yuppie by Berlin's starving artist standards. Stunning location on the top floor of city's former post office under magnificent albeit slightly decaying cupola, with two adjacent dance rooms less elegant than the main hall, but no less stylish in terms of gritty glamour. Restaurant is open Tuesday-Saturday with pared-down menu in upper-middle price range, reservations absolutely required. The club clears the tables on weekends for mixed sounds of house, electro, pop and hip-hop.
