An ancient service station is an unlikely candidate for one of Denver's hottest new restaurants. But Root Down is no broke-down garage. Menu are ambitous, and cocktails are insanely varied.  This is the new spot to sip on a mojito and chat with out-of-town guests in an attempt to prove Denver's culinary and cultural mettle.
