Rosewood Hotel Georgia

Editorial Review

Quite literally where room service was invented--at the request of Katharine Hepburn, who demanded in-suite dining for all meals--the thoroughly reinvigorated 1927 building has taken similarly confident strides into this millennium as a stunning new hotel with the grace of a classic beauty. Grand marble staircases, ballrooms full of Hollywood North history, and elegantly chic guest rooms keep the boutique luxury old-school, but the bravura fine art collection, cutouts in the floor of the plunge pool teasing new arrivals in the porte-cochère below, and the happening rooftop lounge and restaurant all create a totally contemporary scene.
