Roti Chai

Editorial Review

Choice subcontinental street food-esque small plates. Think bread-and-tea, chickpea curry, and bhel puri (toasted rice with onions in tamarind). The kulfi, in either pistachio or mango flavors, kicks ass, but the chai is nothing to write home to Delhi about. Expats queue up for the nostalgia-hit of seeing Indian grocery staples from their childhoods, such as Rooh Afza, stacked on shelves. Fine-dining section to open soon.
