Good smells abound in this airy Aspen bistro. The cooking's French, which is code for rich and savory. Loyal clientele enjoys cheese plates, fresh baked bread, and smartly compiled wine list. French onion soup is the stuff beef-broth and cooking-wine fume-driven dreams are made of. Slightly older core customer, but hey, it’s Aspen. Generous prix-fixe specials, especially in the off-season, make it a good bet for any age. Expect $30 entrees on the full menu.
