Salt & Pepper

Editorial Review

There's something so appealing about American comfort food (hence the name apparently). Squash soup, mashed potatos (granted, here with lobster), rack of lamb, these tastes recall home and happiness for us. Robert Reilly provides that feel in his quaint, soon to be classic, American bistro Salt & Pepper. Since opening in 2005, S&P changed formats from a BYOB to a full bar, but not drinking on occasion seems to fit with America's pioneer austerity—give it a try.
