Editorial Review

One of those innocuous neighbourhood bistros that sneaks up on you, gets you drunk, stuffs you senseless and knocks yer socks off. Chic without being chi-chi, sophisticated without being snotty. Ok, maybe there's a smidgen of snobbery when it comes to the food and wine -but suck it up -this is pretention that pays off. Pasta fagioli, smoked salmon risotto, Osso Bucco, baked swordfish served up in a setting that feels like butter. It's all dark wood and cream with a brick wall, white linens and dimly lit tables. Très romantique. Lemon tart seals the deal.
