Three thousand five hundred photos and other memorabilia jamming the walls commemorate a certain moment in Brazilian soccer history. Place's named after the Rio de Janeiro team that won only one championship in its lifetime but nevertheless persevered in the name of the sport. But don't expect a group of insufferable hooligans; despite the soccer theme, this is a classy, homey place where journalists, lawyers, and other liberal-minded, white-collar types go for a quiet chopp accompanied by fried rice balls. Owner Leonardo Silva Prado will always make room on the walls for presents—do note that you won't be the first person who's clandestinely stuck their framed photo on the wall as a joke.
