Editorial Review

Top Chef: Season Seven champ debuts his 65-seat eponymous eatery in the Symphony House, with a dining room hosting a four-course, $45 prix fixe-only arrangement. Eight- to ten-course chef's tasting is also available, as are suggested wine pairings. But, if you want to take your pick, opt to be seated at the bar where an a la carte option is served. As one of the greenest restaurants in Philly, the Avenue of the Arts space is decked out in reclaimed Douglas fir wood slats and Edison-style antique lighting. Don't skip dessert: celeb chef's classically-trained, Perrier protege/wife joins him in-house crafting fiend-worthy creations (consider the Mascarpone Mousse with coffee granita).
