An SF institution, founded in 1938 and famous for its dollar–size Swedish pancakes made from a retired clown’s family recipe. 18 on a plate, every time. Best place in Union Square for breakfast, served until 3pm. Wonderful french toast and waffles as well. So popular on weekends there’s a line out the door. Sandwiches, burgers, and hot plates for lunch as well, but give us a nooner seafood omelet any day.
