You can follow the rest of the tourists and go to the commendable, though overrated Al Piccolo Arancio. Or you can be one of the few in-the-know and camp out at this fine hole-in-the-wall. Squeeze through a tiny alley way to feast upon tender beef steaks in Florentine style or fried root vegetables and artichokes. Meals are served from the homey kitchen piping hot, in provincial flare. Portions are kingly, the space medieval, and the mood warm.
