SEVVA

Editorial Review

So posh that the financial crisis might have wiped out half its clientele. Ice cream here costs as much as a five-course meal elsewhere. At RED you get to stare at the IFC. At SEVVA you get to ogle the HSBC building, a far more magnificent architectural wonder. The drawback is you’re not actually in the same complex. You’re kitty-corner from the Norman Foster masterpiece, thus losing the eerie feeling of being so close you can reach out and touch the giant. What you gain is a better view of this gorgeous structure, of the pre-war Legislative Council building, and of the rest of Hong Kong Island.
