Sao Paulo's first upscale mall (built in 1966) still commands dignity and respect, though grand columns at the entrance could be a little retro now. D&G, Ermenegildo Zegna and Christian Louboutin must not find confusing layout too detracting. Accessible location is likely why. Suited-up businesspeople from office central nearby fill wide, glossy hallways during leisurely lunch breaks at Armani Café before shopping Louis Vuitton windows. Attached space hosts Sao Paulo Fashion Week and other fashion-themed events. Check out occasionally rotating fashion exhibits upstairs.
