Shorty's

Editorial Review

Former Tony Luke's still doing the same shtick, and doing it pretty damn well. Hoagie rolls shipped in from Philly daily for more or less classic cheesesteaks. Also real Italian hoagies, roast pork, broccoli rabe. Italian fries or Yuengling rings on the side. Narrow, friendly spot, with rustic brick and appetite-priming red walls. Port Authority locale attracts local blue collars, Philly, Eagle, Flyer, and Sixer fans. Twenty-plus beers on tap keep it all going down smooth.
