Sometimes fashion brings out the animal in us. L.A. line Skin Graft is a step beyond. They aim to make our beasts into their muses. Heavy use of harnesses and corsets in design coupled with taxidermy animals celebrate our wild pagan side. Gun holsters become bags in this animal kingdom. In addition to the Skin Graft pieces, this new downtown boutique is home to another L.A. line, Elmer Ave. Tame designs but pieces still pack a punch. Men's jackets, vests and scarves are modern pop classics. A taste of the future sampled from a primitive plate.
