Hidden, unscrubbed gem in the seedy quarters of Dubai. A neon, moustachioed Mona Lisa sign highlights its teeny entrance. Bare brick walls are adorned with pictures taken by over zealous guests as a token of gratitude. While tables resemble kitsch school dining benches the food is thankfully a grade above school offering, delivering affordable decadence and winning itself a legion of loyal fans in the process. Delightfully playful even the dishes have amusing names such as the mischievous 10-baht love you long time. Portions are generous and service benevolent. Only glitch is the outside toilet but the basket they give you with cleaner and toilet roll add a certain charm to the potty experience.
