BlackBook Lowdown
Opening in January 2009, the Smyth takes the Thompson Hotel group into Tribeca. Uber modern, posh, and all kinds of swank, look for lots of red carpet to be rolled out. Check out the rain-like showerheads, the free in-room wi-fi and the Keihls bath products. Oh yeah, we're particularly fond of the Kiki de Montparnasse "accessories" conveniently located in each room.
