Straightforward concept that's right for the times: Delarosa and Starbelly cicerone (beer connoisseur) Rich Higgins has developed an awesome beer and beer-derived menu, housed in a low-key space built for Sunday afternoons. Sidle up to the long, windy bar or settle in on the balcony with a view of 9th and sample five house brews. We like the Rapscallion, a Belgian-style golden ale that perfectly complements the beer-battered sweet potato tempura fries. We also like the Vietnamese fried rock cod sandwich and the awesomely caloric Loco Moco burger, topped with grilled pineapple, housemade spam, fried eggs and an onion ring.
