‘The most glamorous hotel in the world,’ according to Tatler magazine, the Soho Hotel certainly isn’t backward about coming forward. Enter its twinkling porch, just off Wardour Street, and come face to face with a three-metre-high cat statue, giant plant pots and pillars covered entirely in pebbles. The 91 Kit Kemp-designed bedrooms are a riot of colour, as is the bar and Refuel restaurant, where local media folk swap gossip with film stars, musicians and other A-list denizens.
