Spare, warmly lit, wood-floored boutique showcases sexy-yet-tailored fashions from eponymous designer. Feminine detailing makes pieces seem far more expensive than they are. Sophisticated theme accentuated by distinct South Asian flavor (Chaniago hails from Indonesia). Color schemes -- black, ivory, browns -- are NYC, but cut-out flourishes at the neckline, embellishments, and gem-toned silks feel very eastern.
