Pick out your own popsicle from freezers at corner ice cream shop. Frozen yogurt seems like superfluous invention when faced with more than 50 tart, sweet and sour Amazonian-fruit flavors. Names like mamacedela, mutamba and murici captivate old and young locals. Those lesser brave stick to common fruits like watermelon. Elbows get stuck to generic, white, plastic patio furniture not conducive to hang out in. No one's sitting long though: Cheap price makes for multiple runs.
