Editorial Review

Mmm, there's nothing better than a hot bowl of soup on a cold day. Or a cold bowl of soup on a hot day. At Soupesoup it's all about the, uh, soup. Like stray cats to a saucer of milk, locals lap up the homemade concoctions and keep coming 'round for more. Flavor and texture combinations are never obvious and ever-changing. Look to the chalkboard menu to see the daily soup and sandwich picks like sweet turnip and brie soup matched with an arugula, blueberries and duck paté sandwich. It's a crap shoot and chances are you'll never see the same soup twice. Get over it. Wooden shutters and counters, large windows looking onto the street and a smattering of tables on the sidewalk: it's a homey little place with a warm neighborhood feel, a dash of hippy-dippy and a whole lotta soup.
