A-list personal celebrity Chef Art Smith's hotel restaurant in the swish InterContinental Buckhead lays on the down-home charm with Southern favorites. Old-school dishes include the vintage pie table, ribeye with red eye gravy, and swee potato soufflè. It also plays to rarefied trends with a dedicated artisan ham-and-charcuterie bar. The cocktail list tilts toward pre-Prohibition American classics. And, with 70-plus bourbons on offer, many from American small batch distillers, the place more than lives up to its moniker. It's a little bit of soul, and a whole lot of whiskey.
