BlackBook Lowdown
Ex-Bella's (Bar Martingnetti's basement) stealing a bit of La Esquina's thunder around the corner. Dark, warm, with loads of schlocky plastic trees. Slumming uptown kids and downtown socialite set copping bottles while upwardly mobile DJs like Nick Cohen spin platters. Black-tile bathrooms make the Dalton girls want to reenact last week's Gossip Girl with the kids from Collegiate.
