With a menu that is (quite literally) all over the map, Spring Close returns the space formerly known as The Laundry (and before that Farmhouse) to the name it had a few (restaurant) generations ago. The menu spreads things out with delectable bites such as scallop and bacon sliders with apricot chutney, Thai chicken wings, and tuna tartare, and main dishes ranging from steak to bouillabaisse to lobster rolls. The space is roomy and comfortable, with a separate bar area (a fine place to enjoy the excellent burger) and prices are more moderate than those of the former inhabitants.
