Daniel Rose, the American chef who delighted French critics with his original restaurant up in the 9th, is back for a second performance of Spring. The new location around the corner from the Louvre isn't the only change this time around - Rose has added a lunch service (based around a bouillon garni for €23) and a basement wine bar (not open yet). The prix fixe dinner menu is €64 - nearly double his earlier prices - but the hundreds of people calling (via Spring Boutique) for first reservations don't seem to mind.
