A new wine bar has opened down in the 16th century cellar that Daniel Rose discovered while renovating Spring Restaurant. The low lighting and exposed stone create a cozy experience, and the impressive wine list offers seven pages full of well-priced bottles ranging from quirky to Grand Cru. Plenty of small producers and unusual finds, making this a fun place to bring your jaded wine snob friends. Wines by the glass change daily, according to whatever the staff wants to open. Small plates of food range in price from about €3-17, and the cheese board will blow your mind. Unlike the in-demand restaurant upstairs, reservations for the basement wine bar are not accepted.
