'Tis called the Standard for good reason. This is the kind of place Chicago can't seem to get enough of: a two-story sports bar that hosts a bevy of flatscreen TVs and over 50 different kinds of beer. The menu is well, standard, with sliders, sandwiches and mac & cheese. The massive sliding garage door that opens onto Milwaukee Avenue, however, is a nice touch and provides a welcome breath of fresh air.
