Yes, Virginia, there is a heaven. You take the elevator to the rooftop of the Hotel Place D’Armes, you step out, a Gabriel Aubry look-alike hands you a tall drink as the stars sparkle in your eyes. Back on the groundfloor, endlessly high ceilings, grandiose white filigree, flowing sheer drapery and marble fireplace makeyou feel like you’re hanging out in Donatella Versace’s living room. Feels and is RICH. No wimpy drinks! One of the few bars in town that free pours. Told you it was heaven.
