Pick up a copy of Rum Justice, by local scribe St. Lucia-based author and journalist Jolien Harmsen, at this quaint little shop in Gablewoods Mall, Castries. Most of the books have a local feels and you can also find current news papers (as if you'd have any desire whats so ever to keep updated on the outside world). For the more serious reader you can also find the collected works of the St. Lucian Nobel laureate, poet Derek Walcot, who published his first poem when he was just 14. Born in 1930 and wining the Prize in 1992, he writes mostly in English. Most of his plays and poetry are available at Sunshine.
