Surf Lodge

Editorial Review

The first in what the hoteliers plan as a brand, the Lodge steals some of Balazs' Sunset Beach thunder with this hip and off-the-high-heel-beaten track in Montauk. Each of the well-apponted bungalow rooms offers lakeside water views and amenities like hammocks and iPod docks. A German military assault vehicle shuttles surfers and boards to the ocean beaches by day and non-stop revelers in and out by night.
