Sushi Katsu-Ya

Editorial Review

Studio City is famous far and wide for the Japanese restaurants here: sometimes the best, always the priciest. Katsu-ya hasn't been around the longest, but it is an elder statesman of raw fish. The chef is kind of famous, see. And rightfully so. All the traditional stuff, plus fancy, artsy plates with crispy rice, confetti shrimp, what have you. Spot a celebrity or two on any given night, but play it cool. They're just a local in for a quick but elegant bite, like everyone else.
