Make like Leo from 'The Island', except never leave. Located on Flamands Beach, which boasts the island's clearest waters, Taiwana is totally not "on the radar"; owner is famously discreet. Local legend says that even Madonna was turned away when she showed up without a reservation despite empty rooms. The twelve unique suites channel Rachel Ashwell shabby-chic at the beach, making it home-away-from-home for former St. Barth's resident Christiane Celle, founder of Calypso. We bet the celebs also dig the water garden, private plunge pools, and world class staff. Britney Spears no, billionaires and classy millionaires yes. Closed July-November.
