The mere mention of Teatro promotes warm glows and fuzzy feelings all round. Whilst low ceilings, cosy surroundings promote the romantic ambience it’s famed for, the subdued lighting increases everyone’s chances of success. Couples come on dates, trying to impress or apologise whilst double-daters mull over the wife-swapping option between courses – starters are huge, as are main courses, and they reach you with speed unheard of in a restaurant of this quality. If nothing else come down for the house speciality of Tempura.
