Telegraph Wine Bar

Editorial Review

It’s a wonder it’s taken this long for a few young entrepreneurs to open a wine bar in Logan Square. The wise guys behind this operation: Tom MacDonald and Jason Norman of Webster’s Wine Bar and The Bluebird. Former Avec chef John Anderes serves a mix of tasting–tartines (think sardines, tomatoes and hard egg)–and generously plated full meals (roasted frog legs included); the wine list is about 100 bottles strong and a well curated selection of beer and “distillates,” including a French absinthe, round out the drink menu.
