This no-frills, just-this-side-of-clean diner (which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week) is as much a clubber’s post-party paradise as it is a haven for brunching Gold Coasters on a much-needed shopping break. Young parents toting newborns in Bugaboo strollers order egg-white omelets but during the wee hours nightlifers sweep in hoping to calm their quivering innards with a big greasy plate. At 5AM it’s all stumbles, disheveled hair and caked mascara, so it’s a plus they don’t serve booze.
