Terroir

Editorial Review

Hearth and Insieme enter the great Wine Bar Rush of ought-eight. Tiny EV storefront generates mad crush with under-control prices, top bites. Small plates trump short entrée list. Bruschetta, hand-cut charcuterie, cheese plate, lamb sausage wrapped in sage leaves. Wines reflect terroir, Rieslings from the Heiligenstein, chenin from Loire Valley tuffeau. Low-key space with wood accents is two long bars and no tables. Maroon ceiling will have you craving those “smoking” nebbiolos.
