Thalassa

Editorial Review

Greek import masters convert their ancient Tribeca warehouse into Aegean Sea getaway. Tri-level space runs from Greek mosaic bar in front, through soaring dining room decked with white leather and Italian wood, up to Wine Room holding five-freaking-thousand bottles for your sipping pleasure. White sails and blue lighting get you in the mood for seafood, as does display of fresh Mediterranean fish. Classic/modern preparations, with seasonal flair. Front lounge for more casual scene: special meze menu and live Greek guitar Monday and Wednesday nights.
