BlackBook Lowdown

Power publicist and interor designer duo open a nautically themed bar for their extended rolodexes. Just got a sea sick re-design from Rafael Cardenas, man responsible for Parker Posey's drapes. Stripes, presidential wallpaper, antlers keep it haute white trash, concrete dancefloor keeps it sweaty. Drea DeMatteo, Johnny Knoxville and the Ronsons here on the regular. Be wary of face plants after downing conceptual liquor shots named for bff of the week. The Bijou's Crack, vodka with a coffee-and-sugar-covered lemon wedge chaser, will get you your sea legs in a jiffy.

super cool spot that everyone seems to be trying to copy. whoever runs this place, you never hear anything from them but they throw a killer party! everyone seems cool; celebs, regualar joe, all having fun_

A bit of B & Tunnel on weekends (maybe financial district after work crowd? its on the edge of tribec.) but very great at door (maybe a little too unforgiving!) and nice music.
